Five Inter Women Named to Team USA for Pan American Games

If you ever had any doubt about the talent in Chicago, here is still more proof. Fresh off their national championship, five of the Inter Women, including as an alternate were chosen to be a part of the USA National Team and will compete in the highest competition of their lives – Pan American Games that are held in Guadalajara, Mexico in October this year. Under the leadership of the Head Coach Chris Cappelmann the squad consisting of 15 players will face strong teams like Brazil, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.

The winner of the 2011 Pan American Games earns a bid to the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London while the second and, possibly, third place finishers will be entered in an Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Europe in May 2012.
