Jolanta Kunickaite

Women’s team captain, Jolanta Kunickaite discovered handball at the age of 8. Naturally athletic and with a gift for handball, she was soon invited to join the Lithuanian Handball Youth National Team. By the age of 20 she was playing with the Lithuanian Senior National Team.

Since emigrating to the United States and joining Chicago Inter, Jolanta has been dominant: winning numerous MVP and “Top Scorer” awards, and leading her team to multiple titles. Since 2007, she has lead her group to 5 National Championships and 3 silver medals and looks forward to more.
