Men’s team takes silver at the Minnesota Fall Classic

Chicago Inter men’s team posing in front of a handball goal at the Minnesota Fall Classic 2026

Our men’s team traveled to Bloomington, Minnesota, for the Minnesota Fall Classic (October 9–11) and came home as runners-up, second out of four teams.

The round robin couldn’t have been closer. Every game was decided by two goals or fewer:

  • Beat Minnesota Northmen 31–29
  • Lost to Denver Wolves 20–21
  • Drew with Dallas 22–22, the point that sent us to the Final

In the Final we met Denver Wolves again and lost 18–24. Congratulations to Denver on the title, and to their goalkeeper Sebastian Pucher, named the men’s Most Valuable Goalkeeper.

Our goals came from all over the court. Rayen Ben Amar, Roman Chosik and Aljaz Supovec scored 15 each, Patrik Havasz added 13, and Patrick Jalabert made 22 saves in goal.

Thank you to the organizers and to everyone who made the trip.
